We've had a few nice days lately, squeezed between lots of rain, and our outside work projects have begun! We are replacing our deck since the kids crawl around on it so much and get so many slivers. It will be nice to be rid of the older warped boards and have a clean place for them to play. We are using the old boards to make raised-bed garden boxes...I'm so excited to have a garden again. Especially one that will be right by the house. Right now Sam loves "looking for buried treasure" in one of the boxes. It's kept him quite busy:)
Emmeline and Mollie are venturing out too. They were hesitant at first, and Emmeline still doesn't like her hands touching the ground too much, but a taste of the outdoors is growing on them. We spent yesterday evening outside and nobody wanted to come in! To bad it's going to be rainy this next week again.

Ahhh, there's just nothing like playing in the dirt! It's so fun to see all 3 of these guys playing outside. Basta and Baci were even chasing each other around last night. Everyone was happy to be OUTSIDE!

Do you know how homesick these videos make me for you all. Loved getting an idea of how your backyard all fits together. Can't wait to see what you plant in your garden.
