School Days

Last week Sam and the girls started a new school year.  Sam is starting 1st grade.  He was so nervous to go the first day.  New teacher, some new students in his class and a new room with new rules.  He wasn't sure what to expect.  But thankfully the next day, he was much more comfortable and said he was okay.

 First Grade!  I can't believe it!

Here he is on the first day...relieved that some toys were set out for them to play with.  His best buddy is in the background too.

And here are the girls on their first day of 3-year-old preschool.  This is really unbelievable...the girls are ready for school!  And ready they are (and so is there mom, even though it is a very bittersweet moment:).

Here they are standing by the wall we walked by everyday when we took Sam to kindergarten last year.  It's fun for me to see how they've grown as they used to be the same height as these two painted people:)

Here they are by their cubbies.  Mollie is the 1st one...just where she likes to be and Emmeline is so happy to be next to her!  I'm happy to report there were no tears on the first day...but there were a few on the second day.  We'll see how this week goes:)

And they now all have 1 week behind them and are off to a good start in a new school year!
