We enjoyed an early Grandparents Weekend here due to the kids having a special Grandparent's Day at their school on Friday. The school day was a fun treat for all including snacks/coffee & donuts, book fair, science fair, special classroom projects and a fun chapel service. It was a fun day!
Ed's dad spent the morning with the girls in their preschool classroom. He had double duty keeping up with these girls!
Ed's mom spent the morning with Sam...and a busy morning it was!
I spent the morning by helping serve donuts to all of the students and grandparents. Then we all met up and went to visit Sam's classroom. The kids and Ed's parents also had a nice picture taken. The ones they took last year turned out really nice, so I'm hopeful that we captured another great picture with all 3 kids, Grandpa and Grandma.
On Friday night we went to a big fish fry.
It was very good and was good entertainment for the night. Sam also enjoyed playing Mario Kart Wii with Ed and Grandpa.
A little rise in temperature meant we could get the bikes out for a bit. The kids were all excited to ride again...even if there is still snow on the ground. Thankfully the driveway is clear, so riding is okay. We also made our first hopscotch board and enjoyed some good hopping.
Now the temps have dipped again and we have a few more cold days. Spring has arrived, but winter weather still lingers. Where are you Spring?!?!
