Sledding Adventures

January has arrived and it brought with it a LONG week of very, very cold temperatures.  The kids had indoor recess at school all week and couldn't go out when they came home from school.  Sam was itching to get outside, and finally today we were blessed with a beautiful winter day to go sledding in the back yard.

Mollie and Emmeline managed to pile on top of Ed for a whole new sledding adventure.  They all 3 made it to the bottom too!

 Sam enjoyed going down backward.

 Emmeline, true to her character, made a "nest" in the snow for herself.

And I swear the kids will be 16 and STILL be crawling around like animals.  This seems to be an endless stage.  Their imaginations are great, but it seems we've had 3 more animals in our house for quite some time now:)

 And I had to get a winter shot of all 3.  First one turned out pretty good for once!

We look forward to many more sledding/winter adventures in the weeks/months to come!
