Winter Festival
Our town had a Winter Festival every year to help people fight the winter blues! They have an ice sculpture carving contest, a chili contest, snowball tournament, golfing tournament and best of all, a bed racing tournament on the river! There is a small parade which leads the decorated beds across town and down to the river, and then the race begins. Last year we didn't go because it was too cold...below 0 windchill. This year it is in the 50's and all the snow is melting. Crazy! It was so funny to see people enjoying a few drinks outside and to see so much snow melting. Here are a few pics from our day yesterday!

Awe! Looks like so much fun. Sam is all smiles as usual. Any luck on the airline tickets for April? I'm checking but may not be able to stay as long as I hoped. Call me before you book so we can line everything up. If April doesn't work do you have another time you want to try for?
