Breakfast on the Farm

This weekend we took Sam to a Wisconsin event called "Breakfast on the Farm." June is Dairy month in Wisconsin, and each county has a farm that hosts a public breakfast with many fun activities for kids and adults to enjoy.

First we enjoyed a tractor ride from where we parked to the farm!

Then we filled up on an "all-you-want-to-eat" breakfast! Yum:)

Next we visited the Dairy Barn.

There were sand piles to explore.

There was a petting zoo (which was a tad bit crowded:) and a friendly farm cat for the kids to enjoy.

There were big tractors for the kids to see!

There was even a big firetruck for the kids to drive. The volunteer supervising the kids on the firetruck was impressed with how Sam was such an "enthusiastic driver." She said that most kids just sit there. Not Sam!

We'll definitely be doing this again next year!

How cool! Growing up in an agricultural area we used to have Farm Day at our elementary school where the local farmers along with our FFA would bring in the huge tractors, some animals, etc. Totally fun! :)
