Today, Sam pedaled his tricycle all by himself for the first time! It was very exciting to watch as all of a sudden he went from using his feet to propel himself to pedaling all on his own. Here is a little video of him pedaling!

Puddle Jumping and Pedaling
Sam has been having lots of fun outside this week. We got really lucky and had a week of weather in the 60's. Perfect for a little boy to get outside and play. I put Sam's boots on and we wandered around the backyard looking for puddles. After finding the perfect one and encouraging Sam to just go for it and get messy, Sam ended up covered in water and mud from head to toe. Unfortunately I didn't have the camera for the actual event, but here is an after picture. The moment was was too fun to enjoy behind a camera anyway:)

Oh NOW IT'S ON! Let's get them together to do some puddle jumping! So much fun!
FYI, He probably has Yaya beat on the trike. She rides hers but even with knowing how to pedal she still uses her feet more often that not.
Yeah on the pedalling! It's not easy.
