We had an outing with the MOMS Club I belong to this morning. We were able to tour one of our local grocery stores. It was so fun. The kids each got a bag to carry and could push a little cart if they wanted. Then they were led from section to section in the store and were able to see how things worked behind the scenes (meat, produce, bakery, etc.) And throughout the tour they received little goodies to put in their bags...milk, baby carrots, an apple, string cheese, pretzels and a cookie! Can it get any better?!??! It was a lot of fun:)
And guess what the best part was??? This store is doubling in size and there was a lot of construction going on inside and out. They were repaving the whole parking lot and we got a front row seat. I think we sat there for 15-20 minutes. The guy driving the paver even waved at Sam. We totally lucked out with that entertainment! It was so fun for Sam to see how the whole process works with all of the equipment working together.
