We enjoyed a great weekend. The weather was beautiful...we had fun...and we got a few things accomplished at home. I got tickets for Sam and Ed to attend LegoFest on Saturday morning. They both had a lot of fun and were overwhelmed by that amount of Legos that were under one roof!
On the way home, Ed stopped to pick up a canoe he had found on Craigslist. Sam enjoyed that little adventure and is SO excited to try it out soon. He's telling everyone that we now have a "boat!"
The canoe was great entertainment for the kids while we cleaned it up and checked it out!
We ended the weekend with a Father's Day lunch at my parent's house. The kids played outside all afternoon and were ready for bed last night without much complaint. It was a fun family weekend...especially since it was a weekend honoring "Dad!"
