Sam and Livia have a tradition of helping my mom decorate the tree at her house. It looked so nice and they both even made ornaments to hang on the tree too which were just too cute.
And Sam played a lot with an old train that Ed's brother had set up around the tree.
Here is a picture of us with Ed's family. We sure hope his sister, brother-in-law and new nephew can be with us next year too!
Here are the girls at our house on Christmas Eve, when we have our Birthday Party for Jesus celebration with my parents, grandma and uncle. Sam wasn't feeling great, so I didn't even get a picture of all 3:(
A cute picture of Emmeline that I just had to throw in. She got the shoes as a gift from her Godparents and the Hello Kitty outfit from my parents for Christmas and she looks so cute and grown-up in this outfit!
Here is an attempt at getting a photo of my side of the family at our Christmas celebration. Not the most flattering picture of everyone, but it's tough getting everyone in and getting that many to look and smile at the camera! It was fun seeing all of these kids play together too and we had a nice time.
Our best attempt at a family picture. We rarely get one with all of us in it and need to work on a better one!
We had lots of helpers to open gifts this year:) Mollie is helping my dad open his present here.
When my mom brought the cookie tray down, she got swarmed by kids! They had the whole front of the plate cleaned off so fast, it was funny to watch. I can't believe no one got a tummy ache!
And here is Ed playing a new game with all of the kids. He is so patient...I could never do this and stay sane! Not all of them stayed and would come and go, but Ed loves to play games so much, he's happy to play with anyone who will play with him:) He did great with the kids!
Now we are into January, enjoying winter and all of the activities that go with it. We've had one good round of snow, but the kids are anxious for more to come. Right now it is just COLD and the forecast shows even colder temps headed our way. Brrrrrrrrr....

That sounds like a great Christmas (other than being sick on Christmas day-boo).
It seems so cold lately and it has only been around 30 degrees. It feels much colder than that. And we don't have any snow left at all. Seeing as how I bought a whole bunch of sleds we probably won't be getting any more snow for the rest of winter. ;)
