Christmas 2

Our 2nd Christmas celebration was our family Christmas at our house on Christmas Eve.  We celebrate with a Birthday Party for Jesus and then open presents for Santa, who usually has presents waiting under the tree when we get home from our Christmas Eve church service.

I usually read a Christmas story and have pictures or nativity pieces that that kids can hold to help tell the story of Jesus' birth.  Then we blow the candles out on the ice cream birthday cake to celebrate!

 Waiting to open presents is always the hard part, but the kids did great.

 They even took turns giving each other presents.

 Sam made a great family book in school as his Christmas present for us.  It was wonderful!

 Another treasured picture of our kids with my grandma who is now 97!  Merry Christmas indeed!
