County Fair

Good times were had at the county fair this year.  This is always a favorite summer activity and it never seems to disappoint!
Dollar days meant lots of rides.  It's amazing how much the kids have grown and so has their confidence in the rides they choose to go on.
Mollie's first roller coaster ride with Sam:)
Mollie and Emmeline riding the bees.  After this ride, they each wanted to go on again and ride in their own bee so that they could control it all by themself.
 Slushies!
Petting the bunnies.  Looking at all the animals is almost as fun as going on the rides.
 Cute ducklings:)
Here is one of Sam's favorite things to do.  He can take the girls for rides and check out all of the equipment with wheels!
Duck, pig and goat races.  This was too cute and the owners seemed really nice.
One day after swimming lessons we walked over to watch the rides being set up.  We actually went to 2 fairs, so we enjoyed the rides at one and then watched them bring the same rides over to our fairgrounds.  The anticipation of the start of our fair is always great!
Sam's first "big" ride.  I wasn't sure how he'd do, but he loved it!
All of the kids loved this last year and this year:)
And they also had a blast doing this.  Watch for this local company "Sea Hamsters" to appear on Shark Tank sometime this fall/winter.  They've been asked to be on the show, so now we'll see how they do in front of the panel of businessmen!
Finally, a view from the ferris wheel ride that Sam and I take together every year.  The fair is so neat to see at night, with all of the lights/music/action.
Great memories from this year's county fair.  Can't wait until we do it all again next year:)

That looks awesome! Very adventurous kids. Sooo good. :)
The county fair is our favorite too. And it is always the last weekend right before school starts so it is a good way to end our summer.
