Conversations

As heard in the backseat on our drive home last night...

Emmeline:  "not"
Mollie:  "Emmeline talking 'not'"
Emmeline:  "not"
Mollie:  "Emmeline talking 'not' again."
Emmeline:  "not"
Mollie:  "Emmeline talking 'not.' Emmeline, no not."  (with some serious whining in her voice).

This continued for a few minutes, then there were a couple moments of silence and THEN

Mollie:  "not"
Emmeline: "no not"
Mollie:  "not"
Emmeline:  Starts screaming and crying "no 'not' stop saying 'not'."

Ed and I were just laughing until we were almost in tears.  I'm sure we'll need earplugs soon with all of these types of conversations and arguments that are in our future.  But for now, we are enjoying most of these interactions.  Lucky for us Sam stayed out of this one:)
